Weeknight “Brinner”

Sometimes during the week we don’t have time to pull out all the stops for our dinner guests. And sometimes, we ourselves crave something easy and comforting, something more like breakfast. We don’t have to compromise, even when we invite friends over. Breakfast for dinner is considered a theme in and of itself, and also gives us all that childish, guilty satisfaction we sometimes feel when we eat ice cream for lunch instead of a sandwich. This menu is no more complicated than a simple breakfast you would cook for yourself, but has a slightly more elegant feel so your friends won’t feel cheated or look at you like you’re crazy when you serve it to them on a Tuesday at 8pm.
