In The Small Kitchen: 100 Recipes From Our Year of Cooking in the Real World is the cookbook to go with your first apartment. It’s full of recipes and tales behind themed cocktail parties, at-home dinner dates, lonely lunches, and all manner of kitchen disasters. It was published by William Morrow, a division of Harper Collins Publishers, in May 2011. It’s currently in its second printing. Grab a copy.
