TV Dinners: Parks and Recreation

I don’t want to hurt 30 Rock‘s feelings, and I love a good It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia episode as much as the next gal…but Parks and Recreation is the best comedy on television right now. There. I said it. It’s got the perfect mix of absurdism and romance, there is a heavy emphasis on breakfast foods and sugary treats, and this season features Paul Rudd (seriously, Paul Rudd is like the King Midas of comedy).

If you’ve never seen it, you need to rent all of it (be patient with the first season!), invite some friends over, lay down a blanket, and have a pretty bacon-y picnic (indoors, please. It’s cold outside!).

another peanut butter post!!!!!!! You small kitchen girls really know how to scratch all my (k)itche(n)s. Can we please talk next about that scene where Ron Swanson licks peanut butter out of Paul Rudd’s ears? Okay, I guess that didn’t actually happen on the show.
