Dining Hall DIY: Cocoa Cookie Plum Sundae

Ah, the notorious dorm-dwelling Ice Cream Thief. Just as your brain, depleted of all its juice from final papers and exams, starts craving that rum raisin Haagen Dazs and your hand starts its attempt to rescue it out of the depths of the communal fridge, the Ice Cream Thief strikes again, leaving you empty handed. As fellow victims we feel your pain.

In times like these, we turn to our trusty dining halls for comfort in the form of cookies, cereal, and good ol’ soft serve vanilla ice cream. Seasonal fruit adds some juice and tang, and just the right dose of vitamins to get your gears crankin’ through that next final.

For the next time our devious friend gets hungry, if the Gross Them Out tactic doesn’t work we might try investing in a padlock.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Plum Sundae
serves 2

Ingredients
1 giant chocolate chip cookie
1 plum
1 split-second dispense of Cocoa Puffs
1 not-so-split-second dispense of vanilla soft serve ice cream

Cut the cookie into eighths, like a sliced pizza. Cut the plum into eighths, like a…sliced plum. Add the cocoa puffs. Pile on the soft serve vanilla ice cream, attempting to create a pretty swirl.
