In the winter months, there is nothing better than holing up in a ski house with friends and hitting the slopes. After you’ve exhausted yourselves in the cold, you better make sure there is a lot of warmth and nourishment to look forward to back at the cabin. This menu is comforting, yet easy to throw together, key if that ski house of yours has less equipment than desired. The beef stew, mashed potatoes, and cookie dough can all be made in advance and brought with you if you want to skip cooking and jump straight to eating.
