All-Purpose Casual Cocktail Party

A good cocktail party is awesome. People eat, mingle, drink. As a host, you don’t have to provide so much food that you’ll be way outside your budget–which means that the food you do provide can be thoughtfully made and really good. In our guide How To: Host a Finger Food Party we suggest that for every three dishes you serve, one should be a bite, one a dip, and one a type of crostini. Below, we give you one interpretation of that menu–this one is right for about 30 people. For more customization, check out our finger food index.
